Proud Mommy

Whoever said money can't buy happiness is a dirty liar! I'm pretty happy right now.

I'd like to introduce you to my new son - Jimmy Choo. With all of the contents from my old purse, he weighs approximately 6 lbs 2 oz. I brought him home in my arms around 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 29th. He's absolutely beautiful and I'm ever grateful. My DH is also extremely excited as lil' Jimmy has caused me to smile more than I have in weeks. He also led to some afternoon delight, which I know is TMI, but I don't care. It's my blog and I'm allowed to say whatever I want.

Have a wonderful week, ladies! BTW - I'm making an appointment for the "illegal" wax this week. Thanks for all of the honest comments - I've been cracking up all day. :)

  1. Ahhhhh, the handbag baby.

I have a 14 month old called "Dior". She is beautiful and just gets better and better each day.

    I *Heart* her.

  3. You look and sound just like Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. All you need is a pair of Manolo Blahnik's and you could be a star:)

    ...your new baby is gorgeous.

  4. He is gorgeous - love it. And your blog made me smile. Whatever, you CAN buy happiness and we all deprive ourselves way too often. There is nothing quite like retail therapy, if you ask me.

  7. Oh, he's beautiful! Congratulations! That reminds me, I need a new purse too. I won't be getting a little Jimmy though, in light of DH losing his job. Mine will probably be a little Target baby. :)

  16. Erica,
Thanks for your comments. I feeling ok, but the lupron has definitely kicked in. I had a "swiffer" moment with my husband this weekend although it had to do with taking the garbage out not the litter box! Also been very weepy and headachey (sp?). I have my suppression check on Friday, so the plan is to start stims on Saturday. Oh, and thanks for posting the 'waxing' question. I've had the same thoughts although I've decided that a trim is enough since I don't think they really care. Plus, I'd rather have some hair than all the bumps and ingrown hairs which I get really easily. Good luck with the waxing though!

  20. I love the handbag baby. It is super fabulous! Our frozen cycle is Wednesday. Please be praying for that miracle. I guess I am trying to be positive, but it is hard after 2 fresh cycles haven't work...so I am not so sure a frozen one will, but only God knows! In His time!

  23. ohhhh, beautiful baby!! Good job splurging and taking care of yourself. Thanks so much for visiting my blog...I'm going to read along if you don't mind.

Good luck to you with this cycle - I'm sorry for all that you've gone through and how hard it is to have fertile/pregnant friends not "get it". At least we have this fantastic community that totally understands!

  24. loving your new baby.....and yes, we are going to the same office. i feel better knowing that you didn't click with Dr.S either. I asked to see Dr.V for my next appointment.....crazy, we may run into each other there :) usually there is no one there (i tend to go in the afternoon) but last time, there were about 5 ladies, but they saw me quickly and everyone is super nice :) how are the lupron shots going?
