Hello? Aunt Flo? Are you there?

So, I'm STILL waiting for AF. Cycle day 40 today. I'm starting to feel a tad insane. I don't even have any symptoms that she's on her way. This is very weird. I never had any trouble with my period - not in over 20 years. All of a sudden - trouble. I'm having a difficult time believing the doctors that AF will arrive before Monday. I feel a sort of impending doom....

On a great note - I was awarded the honor of Teacher Of the Year for my elementary school yesterdsay. I can't lie, I'm pretty psyched about it. The best part is that now I can quit when I have my fraternal twins and I'll know I won the BIG one! :) That might be wishful thinking...

I don't really have much else to say tonight. I did make the pizza that Murgdan posted about last week. It was f#*king delicious!!!! One of the best pizzas I ever tasted. Here's a picture of it, 'cuz I was feeling all sorts of psyched about this too.

Oh, and here's the one my husband made.

Mine looks WAY better! Happy humpty hump day sisters.

Here's hoping AF shows up for you soon.

  3. Wow, congratulations Erica!!!!!! That is so wonderful and exciting. And it proves to me that you are awesome because I know from personal experience that teaching is very hard. That's a great accomplishment :)

I hope AF shows up soon -- that's so weird and frustrating that you've never had this happen before!

  5. Wow, congrats on the award! I hope I get one someday.....I would love to get a simple "thank you" for putting up with all the craziness we teachers go through. Crazy period thing. My cycles are super long too, but I think my longest was like 35 days.

PS- Yeah, your pizza looks way better! Kudos!

  7. What is going on with AF? I hate it when she is so late. I feel so strung out every day that drags by without her arriving. I can only imagine how strung out you feel by now!
Congrats on the award!! And the pizza looks great too.
