Another Update

...from the battleground:

My RE is estimating that there will be at least 11 mature follicles on the day of retrieval - not as many as last year, but my estrogen levels are much lower, which I'm extremely grateful for...

So now the tentative retrieval is set for Wednesday or Thursday. Next u/s and blood work appointment on Monday morning - this time the u/s will be performed by the man who started the practice, Dr. S. Just an FYI - Dr. S. is as old as dirt. I can't believe I've got to drop my panties for him. :(

Oh yeah, I'm also adding the 25 units of Follistim back into the mix - Gulp!

And my veins are starting to look like an addict's...

    11 sounds pretty good and yay for good estrogen :)....and since I have met Dr.S.....eewww, but if it gets you knocked up, you have to do it. good luck on monday!

    Hope everything keeps going well and that we will both have some exciting news this time for Mother's Day. I am getting really nervous about my test. I just know it is in God's Hands and I do feel at peace about the situation...kinda odd- I feel nervous but at peace. He has a plan for both of us! Just wait and believe!

    Super! Sounds like things are moving just fine. I totally sympathize with the dropping the panties for the old Dr. It's especially awkward laying there in the stirrups with your legs strapped down. Good times!

    I'm so glad that your estrogen is under control. I think that having a small number of good follicles is much better than what happened to me (large number of follicles but too much estrogen)...Slow and steady wins the race.
    I'm excited for you. And thanks for all of your support. I don't know how I would get through all of this without awesome friends like you.
