I'd Like To Introduce...

...my newest pregnancy symptom:

Neck and facial hair along my jawline. Whitish, blond hair has sprouted and is actually long enough that I ended up tilted over the sink last night, cutting it with scissors.

I freaked and yelled down to DH - "I have facial hair! What the fuck?" And do you know what his response was?

"Yeah, I saw it last week."

Last WEEK?!?! Is he kidding me? I've had facial hair for the last WEEK and my dick, ahem, dear husband didn't tell me?

Yeah, nice.

Hoping this tidbit of info put a smile on some of your faces...especially those of you who really need it.

  2. Hi Erica! Thanks for your sweet post about my girlies, that pic was them at 8 months, now they are 2, full of sass, and thinking they are all grown up! :) I have to say I always thought I'd have boys...always. Then when we found out there were two, I was secretly hoping for one of each. But now of course I wouldn't have it any other way:) neither would my hubby-who is a guys guy to say the least! None of it matters when you see those precious little ones. Still I can't wait to find out what you've got cooking in there;)
Oh and the hair thing-I'd have taken that over the acne-everywhere. It was terrible-I looked like a guy on steroids. bleh. The things we go through!!!
    Hang in there-you're doing great!

  5. OOOHHHH NO! My hubby helped me shave and saw that I had hair on my belly and SHAVED IT!!!! I freaked out and yelled at him "that'll go away! Don't shave THAT!" Since he shaved it, it didn't go away :-| Awesome! So do NOT shave it! it'll go away. I'm sure you know that, but just in case.

Thank you for you sweet comment on my blog! I'm glad I was able to help you. I hope I'm always able to do that for you. Hope you're feeling well.

  6. Your post did make me laugh (although I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time!) I am sure that your two beautiful babies will be worth the trouble they have put you through. x

  7. aww hon, I know exactly how you feel... apparently it will go away after birth, as long as you don't shave or wax it! I've already told hubby that if it doesn't go I'm getting laser surgery to remove it.

  14. I grew a lot of hair on my belly during pregancy and can confirm that it did go away after delivery. Of course, now I'm losing all the hair on my head! But I'm told that this is normal. Tell that to my clogged shower drain!

  15. so...i laughed out loud at this. mostly b/c the thing that has weirded me out is: skin tags. i've all of a sudden developed them. i freak out when i see them. i pulled some of them off at first and threatened to bring home a scalpel from work. B just says, "...your body's going through some changes..." but he thinks it's hillarious!

  16. LOL. That's awesome.

Don't worry. Your body's just making sure to keep your babies nice and warm. :)

  19. At least it is blonde? ... I would kick my hubby's ass if he did not tell me! But I tell strangers that they have stuff in their teeth.

  20. Just be thankful they aren't black.

I got black hair on my chin when I was taking DHEA. So not lovely.

  21. Your hilarious! I can't believe your husband didn't tell you or keep from you that he noticed that last week! Come on buddy!
So funny. I know what you mean though because I too have it all over myself. You should see my belly. Hah! I had to get a one peice because it stands up straight on my stomache for all to see, little white hairs just long enough to be an embarrassment.
