I'm having twin BOYS!!!
DH and I are very excited (although I must admit - I cried a little bit - I'm a total girly girl) and the babies measured perfectly. No concerns in that area, according to the high risk OB which is a huge relief. I asked about my cervix - he said it's fine. That was it. It's fine. So, okay...gotta remember that. Oh and I've apparently developed carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of the pregnancy. I was told to wear wristbands to bed to help with the pain. And the tingly sensation. Weird, huh? It's supposed to subside after the delivery. I sure hope so 'cause it makes pushing myself up out of bed to pee in the middle of the night a real bitch.
That's it for now. Pretty life changing news, I'd say. I'm going to be the mother of two boys. Wow!

How awesome! Two boys!! My boss had carpal tunnel when she was pregnant, too. It did go away after delivery. Sorry you have to deal with that one, too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Those little guys will keep you on your toes!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the boys!!
ReplyDeleteI sleep in wrist braces, too. I' ve got carpal tunnel as well. It is supposed to go away after delivery. We will see.

ReplyDeletecongratulations, what fantastic news, little boys are just adorable :)
ReplyDeletewoohoo! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteIt must make it that much more real to envision your future family knowing the sexes. Congrats on your little boys!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS on the healthy boys! I think you'll have so much fun with two boys. Sorry you are having to deal with the carpel tunnel. I had it really bad when I was pregnant with Myles and hadn't heard of anyone else having it, but my ob assured me it happens often. I wore the wrist guards at night, which is when it was particularly bothersome, and it did help me sleep. Mine did go away after Myles was born. Congrats again on your great news!
ReplyDeleteWOOOHOOOO!!!! Congratulations, hon!
ReplyDeleteI was so scared to be a mommy to a boy, as I'm a girly girl too. Honestly though, I have had more fun with him then I ever thought! It was like I had a whole nother childhood and this time it didn't matter if I got dirty! Seriously, you will have SO much fun! Just be careful, they like to put worms in their pockets ;o)
*HUGS*
Congrats Mama...two boys, how wonderful!

Wow.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and DH.
Too healthy baby boys, great news!
Congratulations - that is great news! I really appreciate your honesty about your feelings.
ReplyDeleteI was scared of having boys in my mind - I have two sisters and my mother raised us to be some kind of man haters - but Mr. M's son was 11 when I met him - he is 19 now - and it is wonderful and it has given me an appreciation on boys and possibly being a mother to one.
Congrats! :-) Wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats on your wonderful boys! I have to admit i'm scared of having 2 boys also and for some reason i sense thats what i'm having. 7 more days till I know. Anway i'm really happy for you guys that everything is looking great!

ReplyDeletetwo little boys! woo hoo!!!
Congrats, Momma! Little boys are the best:) So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteI had a dream last night that we had twin girls. DH said, "If we have two girls, I'm leaving:)" I told him, "so am I!!:)" We have L who is just such a good boy and then we have two nieces who are whiney and demanding so we were joking around that we don't want two girls:)
Erica- I am praying for you!! and your two little boys :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that your UTI is still hanging around. ugh!! I am sure that your docs are being careful with the Rx. I take a blood pressure med that is a C......almost everything is a C because who in their right mind would willingly be in a trial while pregnant. BUT from what I read, the drug I am on is recommended in all medical journals as it has been used a lot and is an older drug with more history....I am guessing the Rx you are on is similar!! Hang in there :) you are doing great. mommies naturally worry :)
Hey Erica!
ReplyDeleteI did see that you're moving too, crazy stuff, and good for you before the BOYS come!
I never did have one of those (one of the few things I didn't have:) but sounds like they are staying on top of it...hope this round of meds helps...are you feeling really yucky still?? Hope not. Hang in there, you're doing great! Two boys. How fun! Think they'd like to double date a couple of older women??:)
erika
Congrats on your twin BOYS! Hope the UTI clears up soon, and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy minus the numb hands.
ReplyDeleteSomething for the UTI....they have a special cranberry tea that helped out with me. Just watch the possibility of a YI with the new antibiotics too. Good luck!
